Posture Correction in Kraków (Children & Adults)
A practical, evidence-informed approach to posture: less pain, better movement and stronger habits — built for real life (school, desk work, sport and daily routines).
When people book most often
• Rounded shoulders, forward head posture, “tech neck”
• Slouched sitting, shoulder blade winging, upper-back stiffness
• Increased or flattened lumbar curve, anterior pelvic tilt
• Asymmetry (one shoulder/hip higher, uneven weight-bearing)
• Posture-related neck/back pain, headaches, jaw/neck tension
• Fatigue with sitting/standing, “I can’t hold myself straight” feeling
• Posture concerns in children during growth or after long screen/school time
We don’t chase “perfect posture”. We aim for a resilient posture you can sustain — and we rule out red flags when symptoms suggest something beyond posture and load.

What makes our posture programme different
Posture is not a single “shape” — it’s a skill. We focus on mobility where you’re restricted, strength where you’re under-supported, and habits where your body gets overloaded (desk, backpack, phone, training). You learn the “why” and the “how”, so results last.
Posture correction: what it is — and what it isn’t
Posture correction is a structured physiotherapy process that improves how you align, load and control your body in daily life. Instead of forcing you to “sit straight”, we identify the reasons posture collapses (stiffness, weakness, breathing strategy, pain, fatigue, habits) and address them with a clear plan.
What it isn’t: a quick “posture fix” in one visit, aggressive stretching, or blaming posture for every symptom. Our goal is sustainable comfort, efficient movement and confidence — for children at school and for adults at work, at home and in sport.
What we assess during the visit
We start with your (or your child’s) daily reality: school/desk time, sport, sleep, stress, and the exact situations where symptoms show up. Then we assess posture under load, movement quality, joint mobility, strength and endurance — not just how you look in a mirror.
Key elements we commonly check:
• spine mechanics (neck, thoracic, lumbar) and segmental control
• shoulder blades and ribcage position (often linked with neck/shoulder pain)
• pelvic alignment and hip control (crucial for low back and knee load)
• breathing strategy and core endurance (posture “stamina”)
• foot mechanics and balance (base of support, symmetry)
What you get (and how it helps)
You get a clear, realistic posture plan: what to change, how often, and how to make it work at school or at a desk job. For children we keep it playful and achievable. For adults we keep it efficient and time-smart.
Your plan may include:
• mobility drills to unlock stiff areas (often thoracic spine, hips, chest)
• strength and endurance training for postural control (scapula, trunk, glutes)
• micro-break strategies for school/work (60–90 second resets)
• backpack/desk/monitor setup tips and screen posture cues
• sport-specific adjustments to reduce overload and improve mechanics
How the appointment looks
1) Posture & movement assessment
We identify what’s driving your posture: restrictions, weakness, endurance, breathing and daily habits. You get clear feedback — no confusing jargon.
2) Targeted therapy session
We combine active exercises with hands-on support when helpful (pain relief, mobility, easier alignment). Everything is adapted to age, comfort and goals.
3) Simple plan for daily life
You leave with a short routine and clear “posture cues” for home, school or work — so progress doesn’t depend on perfect motivation.
